Maybe try using a pen and paper? I feel that works for me :)
Winner of the shortest poem ever goes to........;-)Rach has something there, I'm a great believer in scribbling down stuff on paper, I can usually get something out of it, even if it's just and idea. Failing that lots of sugar and caffeine and wait for the rush to kick in.....
